Two Day Workshop
Designed to learn the basics of double weave pickup. Graphing, designing & weaving a sample banner. Planning and designing a banners, table runners or prayer flag to weave in the future.
Pickup weaving is not for the fast weaver who wants to warp the loom an weave off their fabric with speed. It takes concentration and patience.
This is a hands on weaving class with the majority of the workshop weaving a prepared sampler. Then planning for each individuals project.
Over the two days we will be exploring double weave pickup methods. Using the traditional method and method I have developed to speed up the pickup weaving process.
